Notice: LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Testing
The COSHH Regulations require that local exhaust ventilation plant for controlling dust is thoroughly examined and tested once very 14 months.
A significant number of Improvement Notices have been issued by the HSE requiring employers to have their LEV system thoroughly examined and tested by a competent person.
